According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam shipped 131,913 tonnes of fertilizers worth US$48.48 million abroad in April alone, down 22% in volume and 51% in value year on year.
In the first four months, it exported 537,269 tonnes valued at US$232.16 million, declining 17.1% in volume and 43.6% in value respectively compared to the same period last year.
