Operational efficiency of the cooperatives

The number of cooperatives, operating effectively, is also increasing steadily by every year, from 6,723 co-operatives (accounting for 36% of the total cooperatives) in 2013 to 9,107 co-operatives (accounting for 45% of the total cooperatives) operating effectively in 2017.

This shows that, cooperatives are operating more and more effectively, the cooperative sector is gradually cleaned up and developed faster.Overall, there were 9,107 effective cooperatives, accounting for 45% (an increase of 8% compared to 2016); there were 8,916 cooperatives operating on the average, accounting for 44%; There were 2,069 weak cooperatives, accounting for 11%.
